Death Knocking


It's "now," not "know." And the fifth paragraph cannot be its own sentence.

He was "discovered" in his room? What the heck does that mean? And when did he die? Last night? Of "natural causes?" I doubt Sue will be very willing to answer those questions.

He was American.

You're the only one I know who can grammatically rip apart a death notice. I would be too scared to criticize someting that serious, but you're hard core about this grammar stuff. But really, that is an awful letter in so many ways. We got so many of those kinds of letters (but with better grammar) in high school when kids kept killing themselves. I think it's a hard situation to handle. What would you have written?
